Check out our new study, published in Learning and Individual Differences. This work is a collaboration between the DisCo Lab, the SoLET Lab at Arizona State University, and Educational Testing Service.

The study supports the lab's ongoing development and refinement of the Multidimensional Knowledge in Text Comprehension (MDK-C) framework. It demonstrates that assessing prior knowledge along multiple dimensions, including specificity and coherence, can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the impact of prior knowledge on comprehension.
