Dr. McCarthy participated in the International Alliance to Advance Learning in the Digital Era (IAALDE) event "Technology to Improve Learning: A Public Engagement Project".
Dr. McCarthy spoke about how members of the Society for Text & Discourse (ST&D) are exploring and addressing issues of access and equity in the future of education.
