Call for Papers
The submission page for the 30th Annual Meeting of the Society for Text & Discourse is now open and will close on February 14th, 2020.
We invite students and scholars from various disciplines (e.g., psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, learning sciences, education, computer science, communication sciences, health literacy) to attend and participate in the 2020 annual meeting of the Society for Text & Discourse. We welcome the submission of individual papers and posters that present original research on text and discourse processing, representation, and analysis.
The Society for Text & Discourse is an international society of researchers who investigate all aspects of text and discourse including processing and analysis. The purpose of the Society is to foster and promote excellence in research, to enhance communication among researchers in different disciplines, and to contribute to the education and professional development of those in the field or entering the field.
Due to GSU’s focus on diverse contexts and populations we encourage submissions that focus on topics and samples that may have been less represented in previous conferences. For example, we encourage submissions on topics such as: oral and written discourse in health, family, and multi-lingual/dialect settings and with populations such as struggling adult readers and those who are deaf and hard of hearing.
